Pep Boys Auto Service & Tires

Excellent work and customer service. They fixed a clunking that my car had for years that other mechanics didn’t pick up. The whole process was smooth and professional. Jasmine at the front desk was knowledgeable and excellent. I will be coming here from now on. It’s great to find honest world class service. Thank you all for your great work.

I bought 4 tires. It remains to be seen how the tires work out. But "The Boys" did try to sell me an alignment I did not need, my tires were dry rotting but not unevenly worn. They said my serpentine belt was worn, nonsense because it was less than 3 months old. My cabin air filter did not need replacing either, I know because I did it myself. This is why I stopped going to Pep Boys 20 years ago and you are still doing the same things. You will not see me again.

Stay away from this place. I scheduled and got a confirmation for yesterday. When I arrived the gentleman behind the counter said I did not have an appointment even after I showed the confirmation. I told him I needed to have only 1 tire replaced. I was told that they had 4 tires in my size earlier. He goes and looks and is gone for only a min comes back and says they don’t have my tire. He then says that they can order a tire but it’s going to take 4 to five days and can I leave my car there till the tire arrives!!!!! He then tries to upsell me on a different tire that I did not want that they still did not have. Bottom line very poor customer service , not interested in helping the customer at all and just wanted to leave. Stay away from this place.

Stopped in for a new set of tires and had a great experience. The staff was friendly, straightforward, and didn’t try to upsell me on things I didn’t need. The work was done quickly, the waiting area was clean and comfortable,

Just an example of greediness or bad business! A year so ago, I replaced all my tires from PepBoys! Anyway, I got a flat tire, was able to put air and drove to Pep boys! Supposedly a warranty or discount is included on not so old tires! The lady who assisted me said it will be patched for less than $35! Another guy came and said. It is unrepairable and I need a new one! Cost more than $125! I demand to get my old tire as I can use it as a planter! On the other hand…. Had a worse incident with my other car…flat at I-95! Literally damaged as in from psi 35 to 2 in a matter of seconds! Guess what??? I went to my car dealership….They put a patch on the bigger hole and they said, no need for a new tire as yet! Shame on you PepBoys…. Never going back again! Photos are attached…
